This series are the Master Classes from the full Vinyasa Krama ParaYoga® Master Training with Tanya.

This 6 week workshop series is the thoughtful and scientific approach to the intersection of the 3 Rivers of ParaYoga®: Yoga, Ayurveda and Tantra. Each workshop starts with a short lecture explaining the biodynamic and energetic systems of the 6 types of pose categories. Then we’ll practice a different series each week observing the effects of these categories on our systems.

Fabulous for yoga teachers and sincere students who seek to deepen their Svadyaya (self-study) through a practice guided by nature’s wisdom of the body.

In this series we will study:
• Vinyasa Krama – the Science of Wise Progression – How our body, mind and spirit work together through the shape of not only our yoga postures, but also the sequencing of the poses themselves
• The 6 types of Spinal Movements in Asana: Laterals, Forward Bends, Inversions, Twists, Backbends, Extensions
• Asanas & Shat Kriyas (cleansing practices) to strengthen weak areas, open tight areas, and break up stuck areas.
• Meditations mindfully paired with each practice to help enhance the theme
• How to mature our practice from assuming a form and instead adapting the function of the asana to our individual needs
• Contemplative exercises using awareness of our thoughts, feelings, behavior to reflect on the unique affects of the practice
• How to embody Purusha, observing the practice while also embodying Prakriti, open and aware of the changes happening to you

*Earning your Certificate of Completion: Students will have a weekly journaling assignment. Within 30 days of the end of the series, submit your Reflections Log (given in class) to earn your CE Cert for Yoga Alliance. MP3s of the practices provided if you miss class to help complete your make-up work.

YOGA NIDRA – THE POWER OF CONSCIOUS SLEEP

Yoga Nidra is a state of awareness, where the body and mind sleep to what is finite and awaken to limitless-creative-consciousness. This class will explore five methodologies of ParaYoga® Nidra which include: healing, cognition, transformation, sankalpa-shakti and spiritual awakening.

Each class will begin with simple gentle movement and lead into a guided Yoga Nidra, traditionally experienced in savanna (supine pose). We will end with short meditation and journalling. This class is open to all level seekers.

Yoga is the original study psychology. This special 6 week series looks at a variety of tools to not only help calm the vrittis (constant movements) of the mind, but also how to help our bodies digest and eliminate the mental and emotional ama (toxins) stored in the connective tissues. In This 6 Week Series We Will Study:
• using tools for accessing DHI, your higher wisdom
• how to soften the Rajas (activity) and Tamas (stuckness) in our bodies, hearts and minds
• tools for radical self-care
• using a Sankalpa, or positive resolve, to help shape your energy and purpose
• yoga nidra to release old patterns of mind
• learning how the Koshas shape our worldview and how to purify them
• a full practice including asana and meditations to access your self mastery

Restore your mind, restore your body and restore your spirit!
Join certified Restorative Yoga teacher and trainer, Chanti Tacoronte-Perez, in a yummy, nourishing practice to help you recover lost energy. Restorative Yoga uses blankets, bolsters and blocks to completely support the body in restful postures which encourage the body to relax, open, renew and heal. As the body releases deeply, the mind grows quiet and reflective, bringing you into a more balanced state.

Yoga props are often left in a corner of the room, unused and frowned upon if needed. In this workshop learn how to safely use props as a way to move more deeply, feel extra support and surrender in the postures. Props can also be used as a tool to create a more inclusive environment in your yoga classroom, teach self acceptance and explore poses in a new and creative way.

This course was created for those of you who:
• want to know more about using the basic props found in a yoga classroom
• know they have limitations and want to explore postures with props safely
• are looking to create a more inclusive yoga classroom
