Yin Yoga Training

As the founder of Yin yoga, Master Zink continues to evolve his Taoist art by adding postures, variations, and insights. Through many years of study, practice, and teaching he has developed the ancient Taoist tradition into his own distinctive and dynamic style.

Participants learn a variety of Yin and Yang postures, which blend and balance the body’s yin and yang energies. Instruction also includes methods of flowing with movement, how to grow the body to optimize flexibility, visualization exercises and breathing meditations. In addition, the properties of the five elements are explained and demonstrated as Master Zink leads students through the cycle of energy transformation.

Yin Yoga Level 1 & 2 Training

The purpose of Yin yoga is to grow the body flexible and promote healing, to develop our flow of energy, and to enliven our innate ability to move with fluidity, power, and grace. Paulie’s approach to yoga is about following our own individual path. Paulie gently guides students in opening to their intuitive hearts and discovering the artist within, and in trusting and expressing their own unique way of being in the practice.

In this training participants will explore both the yin and yang aspects of yoga postures that are inspired by the movements of animals and that activate the elemental forces contained within our energetic field. Through this process we fully engage our connection with the natural world, we awaken to our spontaneous and playful spirit, we transcend the boundaries of assumed limitations and learn more than just a technique for doing yoga, we learn a way of being yoga, of living it in our day to day lives. We can then bring these gifts to the lives of those we touch.

“I just wanted to let you know what an amazing experience it was to be at Paulie’s Yin yoga workshop. He is truly a Master teacher and so much of what he said really resonated with me. And I don’t remember ever having so much fun at a workshop! Just from those three days, I could feel the energy changes in my body. I only wish I could study with someone who is at the high level he is at. I feel so honored to have been able to experience this time with Paulie and am truly thankful for this past weekend. With much gratitude,”
